Review by hotel critic
As a self-proclaimed food enthusiast, I was thrilled to discover the range of signature dishes developed by head chef Sharon Elders. the menu seamlessly combined modern French fine dining classics with own Cumbrian favorites, showcasing the talent and creativity of the kitchen team. One particular highlight was the Traditional Sweet & Savory Afternoon Tea with a festive twist. the delicate pastries and savory bites were a delightful treat for the taste buds, perfectly paired with a selection of premium teas. Each dish was meticulously prepared, reflecting the dedication and expertise of the chefs who followed the guidelines set out by the Foods Standards Agency. Overall, the dining experience at Broadoaks was exceptional. the attention to detail, quality of ingredients, and impeccable service truly set this establishment apart. Whether enjoying a light lunch or indulging in a three-course meal, guests can expect a culinary journey that is both memorable and satisfying. My compliments to the talented team behind the award-winning Michelin recommended kitchen at Broadoaks - a true gem in the heart of the Lake District.
